Pausing

'Tis the season of much activity......It is easy to be thinking about what happened in the past or planning the next thing you need to do. When life presents an opportunity to stop - seize that moment to pause inside. Take that minute to notice your surroundings, what does the air smell like, is it damp or dry? Notice how your body feels, are you relaxed or is there tension someplace? Begin to focus on your breathing gently inhaling and exhaling fully. You could take a minute to pause before you start your car or before you depart from work. There are 86,400 seconds in a day - consider taking a few of those seconds to pause.
