Practicing Gratitude

Of our 50-70000 thoughts that we experience daily, a significant portion have a negative vibe. Since I desire to cultivate my thoughts, I practice being grateful when ever I can. It can be simple like.....Every morning I feel so grateful for my family and friends and a hot shower.

I invite you to write for 2 full minutes on each prompt below.  Let yourself write, refrain from editing or judging. Once you’ve finished, take a minute to reread what you wrote and reflect. do this practice daily, often.....

Prompts:

1.     Things that I’m most grateful for in my life are ...

2.     Areas of my life where I’d like to cultivate more gratitude are …

Another exercise is to consider each morning, as you are waking up, and each evening as you are going to sleep, thinking of 3 things you feel grateful for. Consider doing this everyday......Consider letting the people you feel grateful know (on a regular basis).
